We wanted to not just make delicious health conscious products, but ones that give back. The Women’s Animal Center is the very first animal shelter to be created in the United States. They were founded in 1869 and are located in Bensalem, PA. This shelter is close to our hearts because my sweet angel baby, Kimbo Slice was adopted from there. He is a pocket bully that is 7 years old. He was left abandoned in the lobby by his previous owners. It is believed he was used for breeding and when he was no longer needed was just dumped at the shelter. This is the case for many dogs and they could use all the support they can get!
